Spilla conigliosa

Come anticipato sulla mia pagina Facebook (ormai parecchi giorni fa), ecco il mio regalo di Pasqua per voi, amati followerini miei belli ^_^

As anticipated on my Facebook page (many days ago), here's my Easter gift for you my dear lovely followers ^_^
I hope you like it!

Per realizzare una spilletta conigliosa come questa, l'occorrente è:

✂ feltro e filo semplice da cucito color beige

✂ filo mouliné da ricamo nero, pesca, rosa pastello chiarissimo o bianco avorio, verde e verde chartreuse

✂ 2x perline di vetro fucsia o rosse, 3 mm

✂ 3x perline di vetro argentate, 2 mm
✂ spilla (2cm)

✂ lana bianco avorio per la coda

✂ imbottitura sintetica

✂ carta forno (pochissima)

✂ ombretto o fard rosa

✂ forbici da ricamo

✂ pinzette 

✂ pistola per colla a caldo

✂ carta e stampante per stampare le sagome in fondo a questo post.

To make a bunny brooch like this, you'll need:

✂ beige felt and simple sewing thread

✂ embroidery thread in black, peach, pastel pink or ivory white, green and chartreuse green

✂ 2x fuchsia or red glass seed beads, 3 mm

✂ 3x silver glass seed beads, 2 mm
✂ brooch pin (2 cm)

✂ white wool yarn for the tail

✂ stuffing as polyfill

✂ backing (parchment) paper (a tiny piece)

✂ pink powder blush

✂ embriodery scissors

✂ tweezers

✂ hot glue gun

✂ paper and printer to print the templates at the bottom of this post.

☁☁ PROCEDIMENTO / INSTRUCTIONS ☁☁

1. Fissa le sagome sul feltro beige con degli spilli e ritaglia 2 conigli e 4 orecchie. Cuci assieme due sagome di orecchio a punto festone, senza imbottire. Ripeti per ottenere entrambe le orecchie finite.
1. Pin the templates on beige felt and cut out 2 bunnies and 4 ears. Sew two ear pieces together with blanket stitch; don't stuff. Repeat to make both ears.

2. Ricalca il disegno da ricamare su un pezzetto di carta forno. Fissa la carta forno su una sagoma di coniglio e ricama i fiori e le foglie a punto margherita con filo mouliné diviso a metà (3 fili) color pesca e verde, usa invece il punto spaccato per ricamare gli steli.
2. Trace the embroidery pattern on a piece of baking paper. Pin the paper on one bunny piece and embroider the flowers and leaves using detached chain stitch, in peach and green embroidery thead, previously separated in 3 strands. Use split stitch to embroider the stems.

3. Rimuovi, tagliandola, quanta più carta in eccesso attorno al ricamo - non strappare! Fai dei piccoli tagli alla carta rimasta attorno ai punti e usa delle pinzette per strappare MOLTO DELICATAMENTE tutta la carta rimasta. Riempi i petali e le foglie con un paio di punti paralleli, usando il filo rosa pallido per i fiori e il filo verde chartreuse per le foglie. Aggiungi una perlina fucsia/rossa al centro di ogni fiore e tre o più perline argentate tutt'attorno al ricamo.
3. Cut off the as much paper as possible - don't tear it off! Make some cuts to the remaining paper without cutting the stitches and use tweezers to tear off the paper VERY GENTLY. Fill the petals and leaves with a few straight stitches in pale pink (the flowers) and chartreuse green (the leaves). Add a fuchsia/red seed bead to the centre of each flower and three or more silver beads all around the embroidery.

4. Dividi a metà il filo moulinè nero (3 fili) e ricama un nodo francese per creare l'occhietto del coniglio. Aggiungi una spilla sul retro del coniglietto, fissa le orecchie tra le due sagome con uno spillo e cuci il coniglietto a punto festone, partendo dalla coda. Lascia una piccola apertura di 1,5 cm e inserisci l'imbottitura (CONSIGLIO: le estremità vanno sempre imbottite per prime, spingendo al loro interno piccoli batuffoli di imbottitura e usando un attrezzo dalla punta arrotondata, come ad esempio il manico di un pennello).

4. Cut a length of black embroidery thread and separate it in 3 strands. Use it to embroider a French knot, to make the eye of the bunny. Add a pin on the back piece of the bunny, pin the ears in between the two bunny pieces and start sewing the bunny together from its tail, using blanket stitch. Leave a 1,5 cm opening to insert the stuffing (TIP: always stuff corners/ends first, using a rounded tool to gently push in small puffs of stuffing, like the handle of a paintbrush)

5. Con un bastoncino di cotone, picchiettate del fard rosa per creare la guancia del coniglietto. Usate la lana bianca per creare un mini pon-pon, ovvero la coda del coniglio, e incollatela con una goccia di colla a caldo alla vostra spillina (la colla va messa sulla coda, non sul coniglio, mi raccomando!)

5. Tap a bit of pink powder blush using a cotton bud, to make the cheek of the bunny. Make a mini pompom with white wool yarn and glue it to the bunny using hot glue (add the glue to the tail, not to the bunny)

Non dovrei dirlo visto che l'ho fatta io, però... la trovo semplicemente ADORABILE! È una delle mie creazioni che amo di più (ma, d'altra parte, come si fa a non amare qualcosa - qualsiasi cosa - a forma di coniglietto?! impossibile)

I shouldn't say it, but... I think it is simply ADORABLE! It's definitely one of my favourite creations (well, it is quite impossible not to love something - anything - shaped like a bunny, isn't it?)
